Luxury Shepherds Huts

Our huts are fully self-contained.

Built on a steel chassis with cast Iron wheels, turntable and painted with smooth black hammerite two coat finish. All walls built from 96 mm times 38 mm CLS timber fully insulated walls covered in 9 mm OSB board and a breathable membrane. We use larch weatherboard locally sourced from Shrubland sawmill and use Farrow and Ball or Little Green paint internally and externally we use Zinser exterior satin finish paint. The roof is covered with Super quilt insulation.

The Kitchenette

The KitchenetteBespoke Kitchenette

We build the bespoke kitchenettes in our workshop, from scratch, at our farm in Suffolk. Oak worktops are installed with a small Belfast Butler sink and Franke old England traditional bronze sink mixer tap. There is also a built-in 2 burner gas hob, LED lighting above the sink and a traditional look microwave and mini-fridge below. Four kitchen cupboards provide lots of storage.

The Shower Room

The Shower RoomCome as Standard

A shower room and toilet come as standard in our luxury shepherds huts. An 800mm shallow tray is supplied with a traditional victorian thermostatic exposed brass shower mixer. There is also a white traditional round floor standing toilet pan with a high-level cistern. Entry to the shower room is through a premium oak bead and butt ledged door with beeswax ironmongery set.

The Bedroom

The BedroomSectioned off Secluded Area

A sectioned off, secluded area provides sleeping for two people, with main overhead lighting, a shelf for your books and knick-knacks and even a double electric socket and USB point. Tongue and groove boarding are featured here, painted in Farrow and Ball or Little Green. Just add your own mattress and bedding.

Lighting

Internal Lighting

All internal lighting dimmable with led ambient light along the roof which is switched separately, all light switches/ sockets antique bronze. Bedroom double socket with a USB point. Outside bulk headlight. External mains switch ready for connection.

  • Windows made by a local firm, Country Cottage Joinery.
  • Stable door with five lever lock and hook.
  • Bespoke curved galvanized roof sheets with super quilt 14 insulation.
  • Forcali 12lt room sealed LPG water heater fitted by local Gas Safe company.
  • All pipework is accessible under the hut for connection.
  • Woodburner – Hardy 4-4kw on a granite hearth with log store below.
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide alarm fitted.
  • Delivery not included but can be arranged with a good local company which covers the country.
